  • “The Past Awakens” is a journey through the history of astronomy in the Lilienthal community, with explanations about the reconstruction of the historic 27-foot reflector telescope from 1793. This brochure is an important supplement to the introductory lecture, containing many additional details, and is available in the visitor information area for the price of 6.00 euros.

  • In the visitor information center, directly next to the observatory, the visit begins with an introductory lecture about the history of astronomy in Lilienthal and the reconstruction of the 27-foot reflector telescope from 1793.
